NOTE***Do not install from the network, save the install program locally to your Hard Disk or run it from a another form of media. When your broadjump domain password changes, you will have to setup your Cisco user profile again, so keep the info handy, otherwise you will receive Authentication and/or Access denied errors due to an incorrect password.*** 1. Obtain the correct install program for your operating system. You can find them at \\zeus\NewEmployee\VPN\Cisco_vpn5000\latest . They will even fit on a floppy disk. 2. **Do not install from the network, save the install program locally to your Hard Disk or run it from another form of media.** Start the client install. It will pause a few seconds at 61%, then your network connection will drop momentarily, then it will continue and prompt you to reboot. 3. After you have run the setup and rebooted, start the program "VPN Client" ( if no shortcut is created, look in the ..c:\program files\Intraport Client directory, this will also put a spinning Globe in you taskbar) 4. Click ADD to create new connection. 5. Login name is your network logon username 6. Use Shared Key 7. Primary VPN server is 12.5.159.6 8. Turn on NAT Transparency 9. Click Connect. 10. You will be promted for the Shared Secret, Network Password, and Authentication Secret. (All password are case sensitive) a. First Text Box requests the Shared Secret which is Jump2It! b. Second requests your Radius Password which is your Network Password (Windows Domain Password) c. Third Text Box request your Authentication Secret which is Jump2It! 11. This should connect you, if not, Click connect, then the Globe should spin in your task bar. (You do not need to select Auto-Connect features unless you need VPN to start before you logon to your PC) You should now be connected. If you click HIDE, just double click the spinning globe to bring up the client window again. 12. To ensure proper network resolution, edit your DNS Suffix Search order (this example is for a Windows 2000 setup, for other OS versions, it is similar) a. on your desktop, right click on "My Network Places", select Properties b. right click on the Local Area Connection that corresponds to your network adapter. c. select the component (Internet Protocol/TCPIP), then click Properties. d. Click Advanced, then select the DNS Tab e. edit "DNS Suffix" for this connection enter "inhouse.broadjump.com" if you already have another suffix listed. then just add "inhouse.broadjump.com" to the suffix search order list.
