Title: Fix garbage prompt for Suse 7.2
Subject: After updating some packages on my system, at lilo, I see 2 lines of junk charters before the "boot:" prompt.
>On Suse 7.2, after modifying the kernel or dupdating some packages,
when I boot my laptop, at the green lilo type screen,
I see about 2 lines of junk charters before the "boot:" prompt.
Do you know how to fix this, or what amy have happened?
Have you seen this?
I am running ReiserFS and LVM on the system with this issue.

Easy fix. Start YaST1as root.
Select Package Management (Update, Installation, Queries).
Select Change or create configuration.
Select a Linux Base System (You need it!)

Reinstall:

[i] aaa_base SuSE Linux base package
[i] aaa_dir SuSE Linux directory structure
[i] aaa_skel SuSE Linux Default User
[i] eazy Compatibility links
[i] lilo LInux LOader

Then reboot.

I am running ReiserFS on two systems.
It works great and seems to make the system run a lttle faster.
